In-Person Workshop
Thread is the lifeblood of quilting. Whether you're piecing, quilting or adding embellishment, the right thread can elevate your project to new heights. Join in for a fun day with Gail and a Thread Buffet - lots of thread, lots of colour and zero calories! We start the day learning about some of the different types, composition and weights of thread. Then we spend the rest of the day using the different threads for both appliqué and free motion. Using the handouts provided for you will make it easy to keep track of which machine settings work best for the different types of threads. You will go home with useful notes and practical samples to refer back to as you continue to elevate your quilting journey.
