Gatherings was established to provide guild members an in-person opportunity each month. The name, Gatherings, was chosen to illustrate the numerous “gatherings” that would be taking place under one roof on the first Wednesday of the month.

Gather in the Library. See what’s available. End up socializing with one of our librarians or another member browsing.

Visit one of the community outreach tables when you deliver an item or pick up supplies. End up socializing.

Pick up a Heart Pillow and sit down with a friend as you stitch the pillow closed.

Gather around the Featured Members and chat while you admire and learn about their work.

Gather to work together on a charity quilt. Savour the fun of working as a team

Gather to meet friends and make new friends.

 Most of all we want to enjoy each other while we work on outreach projects together or just socialize working on our own projects. Space for both hand and machine sewing will be always available. Stay all day or part of the day.

Gatherings are held at Albert McCormick Community Centre from 10am - 2:30pm. No need to book, just turn up!
