We are excited to welcome Edyta Sitar to our November meeting for her presentation, “Reasons for Quilts”. Edyta’s love for fabric began in childhood when she used her mother’s drapes for her first sewing project. This early passion blossomed into a career in quilting, where she expresses her creativity through beautiful designs.

In Edyta’s presentation she will reflect on quilters work and how they find inspiration to create, to express, and to mark milestones in their lives. The program is full of historical information as well as touching personal stories that many quilters can relate to. Edyta will present a large collection of quilts that will entertain and inspire you with many reasons to continue to create and enjoy quilting.”

As the founder of Laundry Basket Quilts, Edyta designs fabrics for Moda and Andover and creates innovative quilting patterns. She has published several books, been featured in magazines, and had her quilts displayed worldwide. Through her workshops and presentations, Edyta shares her passion with quilters of all levels, inspiring them with her designs and stories.
